PSYCHIATRIST

BOARD CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIST

Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), an established and growing outpatient mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is seeking an Psychiatrist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead care in an outpatient setting as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with our nurse practitioners, therapists and case managers, you will treat clients who have acute and chronic mental health conditions.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in an outpatient setting as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Provide direct clinical consultation to clients and document care. 
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations for new clients and treatment recommendations for clients whose psychotherapy may be provided by other clinicians. 
  • Provide medication management and determine medical necessity for services for clients through periodic assessment. 
  • Participate in case and treatment plan reviews.
  • Provide consultations to clinical and case management staff.

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Ohio Licensed Physician, Board Certified in Psychiatry. 
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in an outpatient medical setting. 
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with EMR documentation. 
  • Commitment to community based health care services.
