Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), an established and growing outpatient mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is seeking an Clinical Director to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Director is to practice and disseminate the culture and mission of CBHC. You will serve as a clinical expert for staff regarding behavioral health interventions in clinical areas and establish evidence-based goals and objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures, and interpret standards and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Determine clinical outcome measurements and aspects of performance improvement
Demonstrate strong leadership skills to maintain retention across all supervised staff
Provide coaching and performance feedback regarding aspects of client interaction and care coordination
Establish evidence-based goals and objectives of performance including quantitative metrics to ensure quality of care and compliance with state and federal regulatory standards
Provide direct supervision and management of therapists and case managers, including:
- weekly meetings to review client progress and client documentation - providing guidance to grow clinical and professional skills - giving direct feedback regarding clinical methodology
Practice strong time management skills including goal setting, prioritization, delegation and stress management
Coordinate compliance for clinical aspects of Joint Commission accreditation, CMS revalidation and OMHAS certification
Assist with clinical recruiting and outreach
Collaborate with the CEO to ensure the use of best practices throughout the organization
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW/MSSA) from an accredited school
Licensed to practice in the state of Ohio with LISW-S certification
Strong computer skills including MS 365 and facility with EMR documentation
At least two years of behavioral health management experience
Familiarity with outcome measurement and performance improvement activities
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with staff and diverse client populations
Commitment to community-based health care services
