CLINICAL DIRECTOR

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), a leading community mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is seeking a Clinical Director (LISW-S) to join our fast-growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead work in an outpatient setting as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Clinical Duties
  • Provide direct services, mainly in a back-up or overflow capacity
  • Identify clinical training needs and direct implementation
  • Determine clinical outcome measurements and aspects of performance improvement
  • Oversee clinical documentation and documentation review process
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the CEO to ensure the use of best practices throughout the organization
Supervisory Duties
  • Provide leadership, feedback, and direction to clinical staff
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback regarding aspects of job performance for clinical staff
  • Help coordinate CBHC policies and procedures to conform to accreditation, certification, and licensing standards
  • Coordinate compliance for clinical aspects of The Joint Commission (JCAHO) and Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) accreditation
  • Conduct internal audits of clinical documentation, summarize audit results, and coordinate corrective actions
  • Provide support, direction, and training regarding use of electronic health records system
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports with narrative summaries as required
  • Assist with clinical recruiting and outreach
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or related field and LISW-S
  • At least two years of behavioral health management experience
  • Experience with JCAHO and OhioMHAS standards and related compliance activities
  • Familiarity with outcome measurement and performance improvement activities
  • Good working knowledge of electronic health records systems
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with in the community and with diverse client populations
