Associate, HR

Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) is a leader in behavioral healthcare services in Northeast Ohio with a commitment to  excellence, diversity, and opportunity.  Formed in 1995, CBHC maintains a strong entrepreneurial culture. We are seeking someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves to help expand our collegial, employee-focused organization.  
 
The Manager will work closely with management to support organizational initiatives and recruitment as well as directly assist employees with traditional human resources requests.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field.
  • At least three years HR experience required with healthcare experience preferred. 

​Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact on employee’s questions and support requests.
  • Perform full cycle recruitment – from posting jobs, conducting candidate screening, collecting feedback, performing background and reference checks, completing to extending offers.
  • Ensure employment and clinical credentials are collected and verified.
  • Complete new hire onboarding and welcome orientation.
  • Work with PEO on benefits enrollment and other benefits administration.
  • Review employee complaints, help facilitate action plans to resolve issues and ensure concerns are accurately and timely documented.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Maintain HR records and generate reporting from employee database.
  • Assist with performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Review compliance with federal and state employment and safety regulations.

  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
