Associate, ​Finance

Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), a leading community mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is seeking a motivated Associate to join our team. This is an ideal position for a ambitious graduate who is interested in building a career in a highly valued field.

Under the direction of the Director of Finance, you will learn the fundamentals of a growing healthcare business while being trained for high-level responsibility.  General responsibilities will include:
  • Training in all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Preparing monthly financial reporting on A/R.
  • Preparing and processing healthcare claims to Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurances.
  • Serving as the point person for all billing questions with service providers and insurers. 
  • Helping process bi-monthly payroll.
  • Keeping accurate records in accordance with company standards.
  • Performing other duties as needed.
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics or related field
  • Well organized, analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize, time-manage and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Highly numerate with excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to community-based healthcare services
